About the Conference
Each year, Grand Challenges Scholars Programs from universities across the globe come together to exchange knowledge, practices, stories, and successes. Through these exchanges, we learn about one another and build tight relationships that facilitate our ultimate goal: to keep our planet and its global society alive by solving for our most dire challenges. As our world becomes increasingly smaller through exponential advancement in technology and our ability to connect across boundaries, there is no shortage of complex problems to address. But engineering is a discipline uniquely equipped for problem solving. This year's conference will focus on putting our technical knowledge and understanding at the center of the five Mindsets (Talent, Viable Business/Entrepreneurship, Multidisciplinary, Multiculturalism, and Social Consciousness) as we engage with the theme of Mobilizing to Solve for Global Challenges. We invite deans, directors, faculty, staff, students, and alumni to participate in this collaborative and transformative experience.
